A516 Grade 70 offers greater tensile and yield strength when compared to ASTM A516 Grade 65 and can operate in even lower temperature service.
Our plates come with mill certification in accordance with EN10204 3.1 or EN10204 3.2. Our plates are fully traceable, usually with hard stamping and we welcome any third party or customer inspection if required which can be arranged with the client.

A516 Low-Temperature Carbon GR 60, 65 & 70 Sheet Plate Structural is applicable in different general purposes and industries such as furnace equipment, nuclear power plants, food processing plants, chemical processing plants, buildings, bridges, transmission poles, bridges, cargo containers, structural tubing, auto motivated truck parts, tote boxes, construction equipment, railroad cars, lighting standard and many more. A516 Carbon steel offers optimum strength, notch toughness, and weldability. This carbon steel is generally useful in improved notch toughness and welded pressure. They are found in lower and moderate temperatures.
